明日的希望」，雖然越來越多鄉村樂音逐步往流行區塊靠攏，但是Brad卻追尋鄉村傳統之
根源，宣洩屬於西部鄉間小酒吧的寫意自在。

生於美國維吉尼亞州的Brad Paisley，受到祖父的影響，開始接觸鄉村樂，自八歲得到
生平第一把吉他後，便將能夠自彈自唱演出喜歡歌曲的方式，當做消遣娛樂週遭親朋好
友的特別節目。十二歲的年紀就跟三位半百樂手組織起C-Notes團體，不僅贏得當地電台
大力提拔，同時成為George Jones、The Judds…等知名鄉村老將/組合擔任演唱會暖場
嘉賓。大學主修音樂的Brad，曾在EMI唱片打工的經驗，畢業後順利與Arista Records簽
下合約。1999年以首張專輯《Who Needs Pictures》正式展開個人音樂生涯，至2006年間
共出版四張專輯+一張聖誕特輯，累積近七百萬張銷售佳績，奪下七首鄉村單曲榜冠軍。

Brad Paisley請來鄉村界製作高手Frank Rogers(Alison Krauss、Trace Adkins、Phil
Vassar)操盤全新大碟《5th Gear》，首波站上鄉村榜亞軍+流行榜Top40的〈Ticks〉，
輕鬆搖擺的在鄉村聲浪中，鋪上搖滾吉他聲浪波波來襲的快意之感；舒緩的〈Letter To
Me〉，以輕鬆方式道出若能寫封信給當年17歲的自己，對於逝去的情愛能夠勇敢面對之
