酷玩樂團搞「丐幫」 躍上七月號最Q人物！
相對於樂評奉上「英倫當今最偉大樂團」的美譽，酷玩樂團Coldplay最新專輯《玩酷人生Viva La Vida》
卻要讓歌迷看見他們「渺小」的一面！收錄10首歌曲、外加隱藏曲，總長46分鐘的酷玩樂團新輯，不但
被主唱克里斯馬汀Chris Martin譽為「去蕪存菁後的循環專輯」，同時也考驗團員演奏新樂器的功力。
包括揚琴、二胡、鳴鐘與加料鋼琴等首次選用彈奏，再到「日本Japan」、「中華Chinese」成為曲目名
稱，都為酷玩樂團新專輯《玩酷人生》增添令人耳目一新的東方神秘色彩。

酷玩與凱莉合作單曲成為新專輯遺珠.....
酷玩合唱團（Coldplay）原本為了新專輯「玩酷人生（Viva La Vida）」而和性感女神凱莉米洛（Kylie
Minogue）合作了一首新歌《Lunar》，但專輯即將發行的前夕，酷玩卻決定這首新歌將不會收錄在「玩酷
人生」裡，原因是整首歌太性感了，跟酷玩新專輯裡的整體風格不太搭。「現在的酷玩還不能那麼性感，」
主唱Chris Martin解釋道，「雖然凱莉在這首《Lunar》裡的表現非常棒。」Chris開玩笑地說酷玩和凱莉
合作十分愉快，於是凱莉幫酷玩創作了很多歌曲，而酷玩則幫凱莉設計很多套服裝，不過這當然都純屬虛構。

Lil Wayne Fends Off Coldplay, Perry On Hot 100
With his long-delayed new album "Tha Carter III" finally due out next week, Lil Wayne's
"Lollipop" begins a fourth frame at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. But there's strong
competition from Coldplay and Katy Perry, both of whom enjoy big jumps thanks to digital
sales.
Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" jumps 10-3 to become the biggest Hot 100 hit of the band's career.
The tune, which soundtracks an iTunes TV commercial and was performed Sunday on the MTV Movie
Awards, sold 219,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The U.K. band's previous
high-water mark on the Hot 100 was with "Speed of Sound," which peaked at No. 8 in 2005.
Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" soars 21-5 with sales of 173,000 downloads. Her Capitol debut,
"One of the Boys," arrives June 17.
Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" holds at No. 2, Rihanna's "Take a Bow"
remains at No. 4 despite being the top airplay gainer this week and Usher's "Love in This Club"
featuring Young Jeezy stays put at No. 6.
Jordin Sparks' "No Air" featuring Chris Brown drops 5-7, Ray J & Yung Berg's "Sexy Can I"
slides 7-8 and "American Idol" champ David Cook's "The Time of My Life" falls 3-9. Only three
of the 11 record-breaking debuts from last week remain on the Hot 100 by Cook, but "The Time
of My Life" manages a record-breaking debut at No. 31 on the Adult Top 40. It's the highest
opening for a career-starting single by a solo male there.
Madonna's "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake drops 8-10 to round out the top tier.
Lil Wayne has the top debut on the Hot 100 this week with "Got Money" featuring T-Pain at No.
13. The rapper has four listings in the top 40 of the chart, three as a lead artist. That's
the most for a lead act since 50 Cent had three in the May 7, 2005, issue of Billboard.
Also new this week are Usher's "Moving Mountains" at No. 72 and the Pussycat Dolls' "When I
Grow Up" at No. 76. On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, "Lollipop" is tops for a sixth week, while
"Moving Mountains" is the top debut at No. 55.
Brad Paisley is No. 1 on Hot Country Songs for a third week with "I'm Still a Guy." But
Jessica Simpson dazzles there with her first country single, "Come on Over," which debuts at
No. 41. For a solo artist with no prior history on the tally, this is the biggest debut since
Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems began tracking in January 1990. Simpson's debut country album
is due later this year.
On Billboard's rock roundups, Weezer is No. 1 on Modern Rock with "Pork & Beans" for a fifth
week, and Disturbed's "Inside the Fire" tops Mainstream Rock for a fifth as well.
