We would like to congratulate Mariah on E=MC² getting the biggest opening week sales of her
career! With 462,971 copies sold, E=MC² increases 14% over the opening week sales of The
Emancipation of Mimi which went on to be the biggest selling album of 2005.

This is Mariah's 6th album to top the Billboard 200 Albums chart (joining Mariah Carey, Music
Box, Daydream, Butterfly and The Emancipation of Mimi.) It is her 4th album to debut at #1
(the debut album and Music Box debuted at #80 and #2, respectively)
